Our annual U19B tournament returns for the 2022 season on May 6-8, 2022 in memory of Cat Wheatley.

Cat Wheatley was a former Richmond Islander player who was part of several Richmond Islander teams. She played for the 1993B team and later returned as an Assistant Coach for the Islanders 2000B team. She is missed by everyone in RGSA, including her former team-mates, players, and other coaches. 

We hope to have Cat’s Family present during parts of the tournament and they will be presenting the medals this weekend. Many of our Islanders players wear pink for the tournament, as it was Cat's favourite colour. Diamond 3 has been designated as Diamond 33 Cat’s old jersey number.

We currently have 10 teams in the competition, with local teams and from farther afield, including Kelowna and Victoria.

Round robin play starts Friday, May 6 at London Park and continues Saturday and early Sunday.  Playoffs start Sunday at 1pm, with the finals at 5pm.
