Applications were reviewed by Richmond Girls Softball Association's Scholarship Committee.  Candidates were evaluated on the basis of academic standing, their contribution to RGSA, good citizenship, character, and leadership.

In selecting successful candidates, the Scholarship Committee considered a candidate who has demonstrated support of the Richmond Girls Softball Association by worthwhile contributions and/or administration of the game of softball.

Successful candidates are usually announced at the September Annual General Meeting of RGSA. This is not a usual year.  Last night July 21, 2020 the six successful candidates were presented in physically distanced ceremony after the 7 pm games of the summer, in city, Richmond Girls Softball Association Adult Division.  They are pictured with RGSA President Al Groff.

The successful candidates were, from left to right, Jasmine Marchant, Jessica Gee,Jennifer Lum, Anjali Cote, Regan Gibson, and Jamie Corbett.  We are all very proud of their academic achievements and their contributions to RGSA.

RGSA would also at this time like to announce the results of the Cat Wheatley Memorial Foundation Scholarships on behalf of the Wheatley family. The successful applicants were Madison Brown, Jamie Corbett and Regan Gibson.  These were given out by mail near the end of June. The scholarship group altered the presentation format due to COVID 19 concerns.
